Dr. Gill, D.D.S., M.D. earned a B.A. in Economics with Distinction and a minor in Biology from the University of Virginia (2000). He attended UCLA School of Dentistry, graduating cum laude with a D.D.S. degree (2007). Dr. Gill earned his M.D. degree at the University of Connecticut in 2010. He completed his final year in the six-year University of Connecticut integrated oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program in June 2013, which includes two years of general surgery residency (2012).

Throughout his training, Dr. Gill has been the recipient of several academic honors and scholarships. He received the AAOMS Dental Implant Student Award in 2007, as well as the Horace Wells Senior Student Award for outstanding achievement in the field of dental anesthesiology. Dr. Gill has also recently co-authored a book chapter with Dr. Lieblich in the Atlas of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics of North America on “Orthodontic Skeletal Anchorage Applications”. Consistent with our practice philosophy, Dr. Gill maintains a strong dual interest in clinical practice and academic involvement. He recently completed the rigorous examination process to become a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in 2016.

Dr. Gill is an active member of the Hartford Hospital and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Trauma teams. He enjoys practicing a wide range of maxillofacial procedures including fractures of the facial bones, facial reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, treatment of jaw and soft tissue tumors, bone grafting, dental implants, wisdom tooth extractions and office anesthesia.

Dr. Gill is a New Hampshire native. He and his wife, Christina, currently reside in West Hartford with their three young children, Addie, Elyse and Brady. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors; running, mountain biking and spending time with his family.
